Introduction This year I have read «Sparking Student Creativity» by Patti Drapeau, was published ASCD, 2014. It is written for three specific reasons: to help teachers reach more students, especially those who are not in school or who find teacher teaching not interesting; offer teachers strategies and tools that encourage creative thinking and creativity in students; and show teachers how to consciously use creativity in their classrooms. Many students have interesting ideas, but they do not know how to express them, because often do not lend themselves to this way of thinking. The tools and strategies described in this book show teachers ways to develop creativity that will lead to increased student achievement and love of learning. This book combines research, theory, practice and thoughts on the role of creativity in education. This book reflects the thoughts and ideas of various teachers on this issue. It’s not how creative the teacher is, but whether he wants to try new ideas in order to instill in students an interest in learning. «Sparking Student Creativity» provides tools and strategies for targeted creativity. This book includes a roadmap to creativity, and comprises four areas: one is aimed at developing thinking skills (verbs and phrases), one is about strategies, the third is about innovation and creative problem solving, and the fourth is about products. In the book, there are about 40 grab-and-go strategies, various ways to design creative lessons, thus one can easily learn how to use these lessons to develop creative thinking. The ideas under discussion help the teacher to unleash the creative potential of his students, to help improve their academic achievements. ... Bibliography 1. Beghetto, R. A., & Kaufman, J. C.
